Ben has worked with some of the most famous faces in the world with training and health coaching clients including Madonna, Super Models Kate Moss and Maria-Carla Boscono, TV personality Gok Wan, Vogue photographers Mert & Marcus and Givenchy Creative Director Riccardo Tisci to name but a few.
Having carved out a career in professional football, Ben Camara wanted his next career step to allow him to continue working in the field that he was passionate about, that of health, fitness and nutrition. After meeting co-founder Harry Thomas whilst working together as Personal Trainers at a gym chain, they joined forces to apply their own knowledge and expertise to a unique, bespoke Personal Training offering. Five years later, the award-winning No1 Fitness is going from strength to strength.
Ben's own high level of expertise and success in transforming the human body is reflected in his title as Men's Health Champion Trainer, a sought-after recognition from some of the top experts in the industry. It is the holistic, in-depth approach to training that won him this award, and it is exactly this formula that makes No1 Fitness unique. Ben is passionate about ensuring that all clients receive the same level of service, from the chemistry session on arrival to set the best personality match with their Trainer, to the ongoing care and advice offered to help them reach their goals.
Ben now couples his work in developing No1 Fitness with training a small number of clients on request, often flying across the globe to work with them on location.

Harry Thomas has always displayed a passion for sport, not to mention an entrepreneurial streak. As a teenager, when he wasn't playing football, he could be found running the import business he'd set up on eBay!
As an adult, Harry has succeeded in coupling his love for fitness with business after setting up No1 Fitness with Ben, working together to drive its growth over the years.
Harry is a big believer in the importance of getting the people right above all else when building an effective Personal Training service. He cites the rigorous training that all team members undergo as being central to the unique No1 Fitness ethos, and firmly believes that it is this that has brought about the amazing client transformations that they're now renowned for.
Harry's own clients include Grammy nominated singer/songwriter MNEK, alongside journalists from an array of titles such as The Sun, City AM and Canary Wharf Magazine, all of whom can testify to his dedication and passion. His focus now is to continue to build the No1 Fitness team, something he hopes to drive by producing more highly educated Personal Trainers via No1 Fitness Education.
Always having a passion to keep fit and healthy Simon knew from an early age a career in an office was never going to be his future.
Simon has a passion for removing myths and educating people that although there are many articles coming out weekly about what you can and cannot eat, understanding your own body is first and foremost the most important. “Eat healthy natural food in a respectable quantity. It's what we have been doing since the beginning of time. What you put into your system effects your system internally and externally.” A no nonsense attitude, when training with Simon it’s a case of get in, do your hard work and then get on with the rest of your day. Simon’s clients results speak for themselves and he has already established himself as not only a conditioning trainer but also a body transformation coach. -
Health and wellness is at the center of Kari’s life. She believes it is an integrated process of physical activity, mental reflection, social engagement, and emotional awareness. Her exercise programs utilize functional movement along with specific strengthening and flexibility exercises to achieve balanced physical function. Her goal isn’t to make her clients follow a set routine, but rather to discover the fitness activities that each client finds engaging, rewarding and most importantly get results. Whether you are training for your wedding - or just training for fitness, Kari can get you on the right track.
Athletics has always been a part of Kari’s Life, starting with 100-meter races and long jump as a young child. She eventually went into coaching kids and found that she loved empowering people through fitness and expressive movement. This led to her study Sports science at Brunel University, where she then qualified as a personal trainer.
When she is not in the gym throwing around some weights, she also enjoys, cooking delicious world foods, snowboarding and life drawing.
Pre and post-natal
Having a very varied past in fitness coming from a military background and before that being a competitive swimmer at national standard for butterfly. Bens hobbies vary from extreme sports, such as snowboarding and rock climbing to gymnastics, callisthenics and weight training. Ben studied as a professional actor and is trained in dance, Laban and animal movement.
Having had to train himself and change his own body for roles in the west end and for screen Ben became hugely passionate about transforming his own body and mind set and now is dedicated to helping people achieve their goals utilising all he has learnt through his own journey. Understanding that a transformation is not just in the body but a mind set and will inevitably become a way of life.
Ben is a well organised highly motivated and passionate trainer, going above and beyond to ensure his clients achieve their goals over the time period allotted. Because of Ben's huge range in training and styles he adapts and truly specifies a way that is completely unique to each client. An open honest relationship is crucial in Ben's opinion as with the intensity and training he provides you have to be accountable for your nutrition and lifestyle around his training regime to achieve the results he knows he can provide.
Jamie grew up with a love of football, which in turn led him into Personal Training, as he wanted to share his own enjoyment of sports and living a healthy lifestyle with others. Jamie specialises in weight loss, movement, and body transformations, and says that his proudest moment to date was helping a mother of two go from 100kg down to 67kg and develop strength over 10 months. According to Jamie, seeing the physical change in her, coinciding with her confidence sky rocket, made it a really special achievement for him. Jamie says that his favourite thing about working at No1 Fitness is the fun environment to work in, making it a friendly and inviting place for clients to train.
After 5 years working in the City as an Insurance Underwriter David thought it was time to change his passion for fitness into a career where he can help others and improve their quality of life. David competed in and won the Miami Pro Physique Championship in 2015 while working a full time insurance underwriting job.
This has given him invaluable knowledge when it comes to transformations as he can fully appreciate what clients will go through during their own transformations when fitting it in around their busy work lives. David specialises in optimising body composition, particularly fat loss and muscle gain however he also loves to see the psychological transformation that a client goes through. Seeing clients walk in the studio stressed out or lacking in confidence but leaving feeling great about themselves. A complete mind and body transformation is what David aspires to achieve for each of his clients.
David's top tip is to “Stay consistent! Don’t under value the importance of nutrition and training. Get your sessions in and over time you’ll see your results.”
Over the 15 years I have gained valuable knowledge and experience from being both a professional football player and performance dancer. The skills I have gained from the competitive edge associated with professional sport, and the dedication of performance dance, leave me ideally placed to assist others in achieving their own fitness goals.
Over the past 5 years as a trainer I have gained a lot of experience and learnt a lot about the nutrition side of getting results and the mental blocks that can pop up with different people. I take great pride in supporting others and use a passionate and dedicated approach. I provide a service that is very thorough and personalised to each individual's needs and requirements. I really enjoy helping people and I take great satisfaction when people reach those goals.
Mark has a degree in BSc Sports Science so takes an evidence based approach to both training and nutrition.
Having stepped on stage and competed in physique competitions himself, Mark specialises in optimising body composition;whether that be muscle gain, fat loss, or a combination of the two.
Taking himself down to very low body fat percentages in the past means he is also aware of what it takes not only physically, but psychologically as well to go through an extreme body transformation, so will be able to support you the whole way! He also has a huge passion for nutrition and is now a fully qualified nutritionist. As nutrition takes such an important role in any body transformation, this is a huge benefit when training with Mark.
Growing up Jon was always involved in sports representing his school and county many times. Most notably for athletics 100 and 200m. Jon's passion for sport lead him to the gym where his interest grew into a passion ultimately resulting in Jon becoming a personal trainer in 2009. Jon has a wealth of knowledge and experience. His desire to learn and develop took him to Hong Kong where he worked at a top personal training studio for 2 1/2 years. In his time time there Jon achieved certification with numerous International Fitness organisations. He has also attended seminars with industry leading educators in Andre Benoit, Christian Maurice, Charles Poliquin and Irish Strength Institute. Karol ( Carl ) Ozimkowski
Having moved from his native Poland Carl carried on his pursuit of becoming one of the worlds most respected and skilled boxing professionals. Better known in Poland for his Kick Boxing antics Carl was 5 time National Kick Boxing champion along with taking a Bronze medal at the European Championships. Carl has recently signed a professional contract and will be taking his boxing to the next level and hopefully we will be seeing many more trophies to come. If you’d love to learn the true art of which Boxing is then there is no better coach/trainer in London. Carl’s undoubted attention during his clients training journey has made Carl one of the most popular trainers at both studios. Damian has had a great love for fitness and sports activities from a young age, he competed as a county level middle distance athlete and also competed in various combat sports including kung-fu, kickboxing and Muai Thai!
Damian’s love for fitness encouraged him to share his passion with people to improve their confidence and self-esteem levels. He believes that through physical training and commitment, people feel the same passion about living a healthy lifestyle!
He enjoys making his client’s feel better about themselves and this shines through in each of his sessions. His ability to push both mind and body boundaries will show you that anything is possible. Combined with his energy and passion for fitness he will encourage you to work hard and be able to see the changes for yourself.
Not only will his sessions push you to your limits, but you will enjoy every minute with his friendly, enthusiastic and encouraging approach! You wont be working hard because you have to - but because you WANT to! Not only will he transform your body, he will also transform your mind set!
Andy started training in Martial Arts at the age of 6, and went on to compete in local, regional and national competitions in Tang Soo Do and Kickboxing. He complimented this with strength training which then led him onto to becoming more interested in fitness training. After leaving college and a few years in the engineering sector, Andy decided to add to his life experience by back-packing around Africa, Asia, Australia and USA before starting a career where his passion truly lay, the fitness industry.
Andy’s mantra is the tried and tested KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) which, in a nutshell, is to not overcomplicate things. Cutting out any confusion is paramount to a trainer’s job as there is so much conflicting advice out there, it gets very easy to become overwhelmed by it all. Andy breaks information that is relative to you, and then puts it across in a way that is easy to understand whilst listening to any fears and questions that you may have along the way.
Being open minded and flexible in his approach, Andy has been able to achieve fantastic and sustainable results with his clients over the past 4 years and is more determined than ever to help you achieve the best results possible!
Rupert got into mixed martial arts & weightlifting in his teens and saw the positive impact it made to his body & lifestyle. It was his passion to teach alongside his enthusiasm to inspire others where he found his calling in fitness coaching around 4 years ago. His interest in exercise science and nutrition quickly became an obsession where he achieved a certification in coaching physique & powerlifting athletes. His real drive comes from transforming his clients; getting them fantastic results, with the mindset to go and keeping it that way.
As an ex rugby player, he has always had the drive and passion to build the ultimate performance. He achieved a 1 class honours degree in sports and exercise sciences, during his time at university he further solidify his passion for fitness and performance and it allowed him to adopt a science based approach focusing on all the components to help optimise his clients results.
But, he always say that there is one thing that will out do all the journals and all the scientific studies and that is hard work! As your trainer he will push you pass what you thought you were capable of! Not only will you see a transformation, all the hard work will transfer into your everyday life.
